Ray West set up RW Safety Solutions because after many years providinging health and safety support, guidance and training across the education sector, it became clear that some of the support being provided by some third party health and safety service providers was often not school specific and/or inadequate.

The aim of RW Safety Solutions - to provide clear, common sense health and safety advice, guidance and training that is school specific and affordable, and which assists in reducing the management burden in this complicated and often worrying area of health and safety management in the education sector. 

Ray West is an IOSH Chartered Safety and Health Professional, a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial Accident Investigators, who holds the full NEBOSH National Diploma (Parts 1 & 2) in Occupational Health and Safety Management, and who also holds a wide range of other general and specific health and safety qualifications.  Ray West has many years of experience specialising in the provision of health and safety advice, support and training across a wide range of educational settings including schools, academies, multi-academy trusts, colleges, pre-schools and nurseries.  

Ray West is registered as a qualified, experienced and competent health & safety consultant on the Occupational Safety & Health Consultants Register (OSHCR) and has full fellowship/membership/professional qualifications with the following leading institutions:
